About T.C.D.C Early Learning Center

Our daycare has Educated thousands of children since 1990

As the Program Director of T.C.D.C Early Learning Center, my professional mission is to maintain a safe, nurturing, Christian environment that will meet and exceed the social, emotional, physical, nutritional & academic needs of all children who enter into our Program.

In addition I, along with the Staff of The Toddler Center, vow to create and maintain an atmosphere wherein parents will feel comfortable and secure knowing that the safety and security of their children is our number one priority.
You have our assurance that we have safe practices in place to ensure that we are able to minimize the spread of bacteria and illnesses along with the prevention of most minor accidents which normally occur in most childcare facilities.

T.C.D.C Early Learning Centerwas established in September of 1990 as a home day care center on the Northwest Side of Detroit. As word spread throughout the community about the centers curriculum, within a very short time, the center outgrew its space and found itself with a waiting list. To accommodate the demand, the facility at 14740 Plymouth Road was purchased in 1993 and remodeling was completed in 1995.

The two story facility houses apartments on the 2nd floor (The Edwards One Apartments) and housed on the first level is the daycare center, a hair salon and a coffee/sandwich shop (Barista Expresso Coffee House) scheduled to open soon. There is a large fenced in outdoor play area for the students enjoyment and use.
